journey is a real estate company specialising in property, specifically to support key UK knowledge economies, helping to facilitate innovation and research across the golden triangle of science university cities of Cambridge, Oxford, and Manchester. Their mission is to enhance the working and living experience of their clients whilst they focus on developing their research and ventures.
Following a series of workshops and stakeholder conversations, an apparent philosophy guiding the business and values became evident. journey’s commitment to supporting the growth of UK science and technology that caters for work, live, play and stay and facilitates connection and collaboration while providing business support throughout all stages of growth.
Working with an existing brand, we were tasked with developing a new digital experience that matched the initiative and endorsed its purpose within the UK science and technology sector. Redeveloping the user experience not only to how users find and view the spaces but, also to how the core business values and extensive experience within the sciences sector are communicated across the site.
Evolving the journey brand, a series of procedural animations were developed for use across the site that represent both the brand values of collision and collaboration and help bring a subtle and engaging element of user interaction.
