The video project was designed to complement the overall marketing to the trade for whom Pavilions was no longer front-of-mind. A bespoke DVD was developed showcasing the recent purchase and refurbishment of Pavilions Shopping Centre in Birmingham as well as compelling facts about the marketplace in Birmingham.
Aimed at potential retailers, a branded DVD player was delivered with the presentation with a letter from the letting agents to potential occupiers explaining its purpose. From the 21 branded DVD players delivered, 4 retailers entered into discussions with UBS and in the last year 2 signed in time for Christmas 2008.
This initiative was a major breakthrough in persuading retailers to redevelop a dialogue with Pavilions and their agents.
