Appointed by Explore Investments to create the overall branding and marketing strategy for the 4m sq ft urban regeneration project in Luton, Napier Park, Sectorlight introduced Futurecity as creative partners to deliver a cultural strategy from which a new brand direction could be developed.
The strategy includes a major £1.5m arts, architecture and landscape collaboration, curated by Futurecity. A shortlisting process was run, where three artists were invited to discuss their ideas for the project with the design team.
Artist Simeon Nelson was then appointed to work in close collaboration with Architects Faulkner Brown and Broadway Malyan to create proposals for a major embedded work using water as its central material and concept.
